What Judges Look For
Every entry is scored across four categories, each worth up to 10 points. Judges evaluate composition and lighting, technical quality and exposure, the story behind the moment, and the overall emotional impact of the image.
Prizes & Recognition
- Grand Prize Winner — Featured in the permanent collection with a hero showcase, personalized winner badge, and social media feature
- Official Selections — Gallery placement in the collection and a selection badge. More than 50 to 100 images per contest will be selected.

- Open to all active CHS members
- Accepted formats: JPG, PNG (max 4 MB each)
- No watermarks or borders
Rights & Usage
By entering, photographers grant Champion Her Shot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use images for display & promotion. Photographer retains full copyright.
Editing & Image Integrity
Basic post-processing is permitted, including color correction, cropping, exposure adjustments, and standard retouching.
- Images must maintain the integrity of the original scene.
- Adding, removing, or significantly altering elements is not permitted.
- Heavy compositing, manipulation, or AI-generated elements are prohibited.
- Any image deemed misleading, fabricated, or overly manipulated will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the judges.
AI & Synthetic Content
Images that are fully or partially generated using AI, or that rely heavily on generative tools to create or alter content, are not eligible. This includes backgrounds, subjects, or key elements that did not exist in the original capture.
